A theater has 40 seats in the first row, 43 seats in the second row, 46 seats in the third row, and so on. How many seats are there in row 18?

There are 2 ways to do this one: 

1. 18 x 3 = 54
54 + 40 = 94

2. 40 + 3 + 3 + 3.... and so on.

your answer is 94 you can just and 3 for each row till u get to the 18th row or you can multiply 3*18=54+40=94
