In Morte d’Arthur by sir Thomas Malory, which element of medieval literature does the disappearance of the Excalibur into the lake represent?

Respuesta :

When king Arthur threw the sword into the lake, he did this in order that nobody else can ever wield it, because he was told by the dragon who forget the sword that he is the only person ever to use the sword. When the sword disappeared in the lake, the Lady of the Lake took it so as to keep it safe. Taking all of this into consideration, I'd say the element is supernatural.
