My two stressors are:
School and My mental illness
My problem-focused skill will be me learning to find a way to learn new things without letting my mental illness get in the way. So I would sit and study for 15 minutes and then give myself a break.
My emotion-focused skill will be to reward myself after I retain new information. When I take exams and see just how well I was able to learn new things.
I can apply these two skills to both my stressors because if I study hard and give myself breaks in between I am going to do better in school and by using these skills I am able to better manage my mental illness.
