2. First Reading - It is when the bill has been received in both House of the Lords and House of Commons.
3. Second Reading - A debate is made on the principles and main areas of the bill
4. Committee Stage - Line scrutiny is done over the text with amendments.
5. Report Stage - Further examination of the text is done.
6. Third Reading - Final amendments and votes are completed
7. Both Houses then considers all the amendments.
8. Royal Assent: If both houses agree on the content, the bill will be approved by the Queen and becomes a law.
