used the police force, and exalted nationalism and a tight control of the industries and commerce of a country. The political philosophy became prominent in the 1920's and was first effected after ww1 by Italian Dictator Mussolini. The system had zero toleration to discent and opposition.
Fascist governments often use propaganda to sway people to their beliefs. Look at much of the Nazi propaganda before WWII. The basis for much of it was how other groups were hurting the German people. Once in charge, the focus turned to how certain groups of people were harming the nation and how they needed to be dealt with. This allowed them to further spread their prejudices towards those groups. Fascist governments also tend toward brute force when necessary. The creation of the SS is a prime example. The secret police were used to brutally and forcefully round up various peoples and ship them off to other places.
