Sir Francis Galton was a developmental psychologist. He believed that intelligence or IQ was the cause of heredity. His study "Heredity Genius" used the the bell-shaped Normal Curve to describe the differences in intellectual ability. He developed correlation and regression in relation the Normal curve.
