Question-- If Vienna leaves her house for a basketball ball practice at 7:30 am and returns home after practice at 9:15 am. Find for how much time she was out of her house?

Solution-- Since, the beginning time i.e. the time she leaves home is: 7:30 am

                  End time i.e. the time she returns back home is: 9: 15 am

            Hence, Elapsed time is calculated as:

          Elapsed time=End time-Beginning time

                                = 9:15-7:30

                                 = 1 hour and 45 minutes

          (Since 7:30-8:30 is 1 hour and 8:30-9:15 is 45 minutes.

                Hence, 7:30-9:15 is 1 hour and 45 minutes)
