The civil rights act of 1964 was made to respond the issue of employment discrimination based on national origin, color, sex, race, and religion. With this act, the government has the right to ban the employers who discriminate their employees. This civil rights act is considered as one of the topmost judicial achievements of the civil rights movement that was proposed by Pres. John F. Kennedy.
