I do not use public transport, simply because it's unnecessary in my life. I have my own car or if needed, can hitch a ride from a friend. Personally, I would rather walk or ride a bike, just because I'm unfamiliar with the routes of public transport and find the rides smelly and dirty. The only situation I see where I would step on a bus, train, or etc would be to a very important, far away destination.
