Franklin D. Roosevelt calls
for people to realize that the Nation asks for immediate action as excerpted from
his inauguration address as the thirty-second president of the United States on
March 4, 1933.
“Restoration calls, however,
not for changes in ethics alone. This Nation asks for action, and action now.”
In this statement, he refers
for the people to not be fearful of the predicaments befalling the country and
instead, help each other to win the fight against their economic crises.
