A series of revolutions in the early 1800s led to independence for nations in "Latin america," since although there were several similar revolutions in Europe during this time, they mostly failed to achieve their democratic goals.

In the 1800s, series of revolution was conducted by Several countries in south America in order to gained independence from the Spanish empire. United States were involved in the revolutions by providing both financial and supplies aid to the countries.
