Early civilizations develop mainly in valleys near rivers. Water is the main source of life and every living organism needs water for survival. Humans through the revolution of technology have built civilizations that are near the source of water for it helps in agriculture, trade, and urban development. Early aqueducts were built by the Romans, one of the early civilizations of man, to supply water through towns. Water was also crucial in building bridges, ships, and other human innovations during the early days.
