Creationism is the religious belief
that the Universe and life are created in the act of divine creation, i.e. the belief that
God created the world, and all living creatures in it. Creationist literally
interpret the biblical Genesis creation narrative, and reject the scientific
theory of evolution. Moreover, some creationist claim that existence of the Creator, can be scientifically proved, and that, on contrary, theory of evolution
can not. Namely, they say that, if we analyze the Bible and the complexity of
the world around us, using scientific method, we wouldn't be able to accept the idea of spontaneous appearance of the life on Earth. They also point out that the scientific
proofs of the evolution are not found, since the archaeologists didn't find a traces
of many species that had to exist if the species really were developed slowly
and spontaneously by the natural laws and natural selection.
