Berlin Conference convened
in order to complete the negotiations with regards to the claiming of the
territory in Africa that is also known as the Berlin West Africa. It was in November
15, 1884 until 1885 that a convention was called to shed light on the questions
about the Africa territory. During the conference, 80% of Africa stayed under
the local and traditional control. It
aims to settle the political division that arises in Africa and to extend the German territory in its own
advantage.
