Final quetion on this website :D it's worth 30 points :) But there are 3 questions. Anwser them all completely please. I also give thanks and if you need help just pm me

1) 4* 10 : 6 * (10) = 40:60 inches.
2) a. $\frac{325}{20}$ : $\frac{255}{15}$    Now reduce
$\frac{65}{4}$ : $\frac{17}{1}$   The ratios are not proportional.
3) [0, 16], [3, 12], [6, 8], [9, 4], [12, 0]
The answer is [12, 0]

1. enlarged by a scale factor of 10/1 or basically he made the legnth and the width 10 times bigger
4 times 10=40
6 times 10=60
new dimentions are 40 inches by 60 inches

A: normally we write ratios in (distance):(time) so
marie=325:20
tamara=255:15
B. proportional means that if you conver to fraction and simplify, they will be equall so
325/20=16.25/
255/15=17/1
they are not equal and therefor NOT proportional



3. so we use slope intercept form which is y=mx+b where m=slope and b=y-intercept
so we find the equation
slope=-4/3
we are given the point (0,16)
the y-intercept is where x=0
in (x,y) form, (0,16), x=0 and y=16
b=16
y=-4/3x+16
the x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or when y=0 so set y=0 so
0=-4/3x+16
subtract 16 from both sides
-16=-4/3x
multiply both sides by -1 because I don't like negatives
16=4/3x
multiply both sides by 3
48=4x
divide both sides by 4
12=x
solution=(12,0)

it will cross at (12,0)
