a teacher asked 3 pupils to choose any 2 digit number square it and then find the remainder after dividing the result by 7.Doris got 6.Maurice got 4.Horace got 3 two of the pupils must have made a mistake.why?

The lowest 2 digit number you can square is 10. 10² = 100. 100 ÷ 7 = 14.3. So unless they used numbers such as 01 or 02, then they would all be wrong.
