a)Write and solve an expression to find the volume of Jose's aquarium.

b)One cubic foot is equal to 7.48 gallons of water. How many gallons of water does Jose need to fill his aquarium? Round to the nearest gallon.

a) Volume of a cube is found by multiplying its side by itself twice.

V = a³
V = 4³ = 4 * 4 * 4
V = 64 ft³

b) 1 cubic foot = 7.48 gallons of water.
total gallons of water = 64 ft³ x 7.48 gallons = 478.72 or 479 gallons rounded up to the nearest gallon.
