The electrons, protons, and neutrons in an atom, likewise called as the "baryonic matter" is the thing that astrophysicists feel that the universe is made of. The possibility of the structure of the atom has changed after some time from Dalton's model, to Rutherford's, and Neils Bohr's planetary model, lastly to the quantum model of an atom.
