Woman who worked during the Industrial Revolution worked in factories or textile mills. However, working conditions were not the greatest as they were dangerous, since the owners of factories wanted to save money and not pay for things that could prevent someone from getting hurt on the job. Woman also had to do double the work as they would work at a factory, but then come home to complete house work and possible care for a child. This means the home life suffered since they might be too tired from working outside the house to complete their household chores.
