Hey there!

Geometric mean=X1*X2*X3....*Xn^1/n

Where x1,x2,x3...etc are all the numbers you have to work with and n is the number of total numbers being considered.

so we have here first let’s get the 1/n exponent out if the way;

1/n=1/2 since n=2 numbers used total, and we were given two numbers, 11 and 4. So that’s that part. Easy enough right? Great!! Now we have

(4*11)^1/2 =sqrt(44) = 2*sqrt(11)

So the answer is the next to Last or second choice.

Hope this helps you out and understand how to solve any geometric mean problem. Any questions please ask!!! Thank you so much!!

The geometric mean of 11 and 4 is 2[tex]\sqrt{11}[/tex].

What is geometric mean?

The geometric mean is a mean or average, which indicates central tendency or typical value of a set of numbers by using the product of their values. The geometric mean of 11 and 4 is 2[tex]\sqrt{11}[/tex].

How to find geometric mean?

The formula of geometric mean of two number is [tex]\sqrt{number 1 * number 2}[/tex]

Geometric mean=[tex]\sqrt{11*4}[/tex]

we cannot take square root of 11 but take square root of 4 so it will become:

Geometric mean =2[tex]\sqrt{11}[/tex].

Hence the geometric mean of 4 and 11 is 2[tex]\sqrt{11}[/tex].
