The Mayflower Compact was agreed to and signed by A) the adult male passengers on the Mayflower. At the time the Mayflower Compact was signed, people who had real "weight" on governmental and public affairs were exclusive to males above the age of eighteen, and this is exactly why they were the only demographic to sign the Mayflower Compact.
