Simplify -(-2a + 13) + (-9a - 2) - (-7a - 3).

A: 12
B: -12
C: 14a - 12
D: 14a - (-12)

I solved this problem yet I don't know if I did it right. I got B: -12. Can someone confirm if I'm right or not? Thanks.

the terms in a  = 2a - 9a +7a = 0
the numbers = -13 - 2 + 3  = -12
