I think that the most serious crime would be homicide because that is taking that person's right to live away. Not to mention that any friends or family members would be devastated, emotionally damaged, or effected in some way. That person could have ended up finding a way to world peace. It's highly unlikely but you never know.

An act that is socially harmful and dangerous which is prohibited and punishable by society is called crime. Abuse, murder, theft, assault, violence etc are considered crimes.
