The second Industrial Revolution started at mid XIX century, but is really consider a phase of the Industrial revolution we all know, is not a rupture between eras, it is more a strengthening and perfectionism of the thechnologies, and it implies a series of development in Chemistry, electric, oil and Steel industry.
