Aqueous solution are solutions in which the solvent is water, usually shown as (aq) in a chemical equation. For example a solution of potassium chloride (KCl), in water it should be represented as Na +(aq) + Cl- (aq). Reactions that occurs in aqueous solution may produce three types of product namely;  A precipitate , gases or heat could be released or absorbed
