Beginning within the nucleus, the first step leading to the synthesis of a polypeptide is _____. beginning within the nucleus, the first step leading to the synthesis of a polypeptide is _____. removal of introns from rna and the stitching together of exons transferring of information from dna to messenger rna translation of an rna nucleotide sequence into a sequence of amino acids linking of nucleotides to form a polypeptide translation of a dna nucleotide sequence into a sequence of amino acids

Respuesta :

transferring the genetic information stored in DNA into m-RNA is the very first stem involved in gene expression. this process is referred to as transcription and it is occurs in the nucleus of the cell. it is catalyzed by an enzyme to referred to as DNA transcriptase. after the m-RNA has been synthesized, the unwanted regions referred to as introns are removed from the RNA and wanted regions called exons are joined together to form RNA molecule that will be used to make poly-peptide in the process of translation.
