Early experience greatly influences the organization of the cerebral cortex.
The cerebral cortex is the largest region of the cerebrum in the brain and it is important for memory, perceptioncognition, thoughtlanguage.
Sensory cortical regions (receive and process information from the senses) are very responsive to early experiences, for example if young person live in condition with low light (in dark) visual cortex will have low sensitivity.
