Asexual reproduction is term used to describe the vegetative
reproduction of various types, or the reproduction made with agamospermy. In asexual reproduction the cell undergoes mitotic division without any recombination, and the result are two cells that are identical to each other and to the
original cell. This type of reproduction occurs in lower organisms (eg. microorganisms) . Species of monkey flower (genus Mimulus) use their resources for sexual and asexual reproduction.
