Many days he can enjoy golf if he has $375?Does number of days  And money represents proportional relation?

                 Use table-chart, Graph, and equation.

Respuesta :

Initial deposit is ----------------------- >$7.50

 Julian fees per day for unlimited golf is-------------- >(30-10)= $20

 View table-chart attached

Julian has ------ > $375-$7.50(Initial deposit)= $367.50

Per day--------------- >$20

X-------------------- >$367.50

X=367.5/20=18.3=18 days

Julian can enjoy golf 18 days

18 days*$20+$7.50=$367.5 < $375-- ---> is ok

The number of days and the money represent a proportional relationship that can be expressed through the equation of a line

 I select two points from the table

Point A(0,7.5)

Point B (2,47.5)

The equation of the line

Y=mx+b

For x=0   y=7.5

Therefore b=7.5

For point B

47.5=m*(2)+7.5------------- >m=(47.5-7.5)/2=20

m=20

y=20x+7.5 see attached graphic
