The answer would be $540. First you find out how many packages of paper there are (12 x 2) and then divide the dollar total of the first month by that (72 / 24) to find how much each package costs, and then you multiply that answer by how many packages of paper they bought the next month (3 x 180) and that gives you the total amount of the second month :)
