The correct option is RISING ACTION.
The plot of a story is usually divided into four basic parts which are exposition, rising action, climax  and falling action. The exposition part is the part that introduces the story, it is the introduction to the story. The rising action is the part that leads to the major interesting area of the story, which is termed the climax. The rising action of a story usually occur after the exposition and before the climax. Rising action leads to the climax of the story. The falling action is the part of the story that occur after the climax of the story has been reached.
