You can justify the types of cereal by reading the back of the box, to see the nutrition facts, ingredients and other health nutrition facts. You can also look up the type of cereal on the internet and see if you can find information on it there. There is also a company number on most cereal boxes so you can call those companies and compare the differences.

The best cereals, according to study, are those that are a good source of protein, fiber and those that are least processed. Physical and functional properties just like gelatinization degree, bulk density, expansion ratio, water absorption index, water solubility index, and sensory characteristics are considered as important in terms of cereals. So by comparing these qualities we can determine which cereal type is healthier.
