Option C: Gulf stream
The gulf stream, along with the North Atlantic Drift which is its northern extension, is a warm and rapid Atlantic Ocean current. It is originated from the Gulf of Mexico and passing through the tip of Florida, before crossing the Atlantic Ocean, it is extended to the eastern coastlines of the United States.
The Guff stream is accelerated towards the east coast of North America due to western intensification. Thus, the Guff stream (from Florida to Newfoundland) affects the climate of east coast of North America.
