Answer: The physical adaptation that can be seen in the black tailed jack rabbit is that they have large ears and the skin of the ears is very thin that helps in temperature regulation. The ears of rabbit is full of blood vessels and when the temperature starts to rise then they regulate the blood flow in their ears by dilating the blood vessels. This helps in cooling the body of the rabbit.
The behavioral adaptation in the jack rabbit is that they stay in the shade during the day times and and prey at the nighttime to protect themselves from the heat. They are nocturnal animals.
