The  chordae tendinae of the  av  valves  are  anchored  to  the Papillary  muscle  of  the  ventricle .Chordae  tendinae  are  code  like  tendons  that  connect  the papillary  muscles  to  the  tricuspid  valve  and   the mitral valve.(atrioventricular  valves). This  papillary  muscle  are  located  in  the  ventricle  of  the  heart  and  they  attach  to  the  cusps  of  atrioventricular valve.
