Solution:
we have been asked to find the equation of the straight line.
we are given with
Point(8,-4), slope =-5/6
As we know the equation of a straight line is given by
[tex] (y-y_1)=m(x-x_1)\\ [/tex]
Now substitute the values we get
[tex] (y-(-4))=\frac{-5}{6}(x-8) \\
\\
y+4=\frac{-5}{6}(x-8) \\ [/tex]
