Both mitosis and differentiation of  an embryo occur at the OVARY.
Mitosis involves the divisions of the sex cells into daughter cells. The process of mitosis is divided into five different stages, which are prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Differentiation has to do with the embryonic cells becoming perfected for particular functions, that is, they become specialized cells.
Both mitosis and differentiation of an embryo occur in the ovary. Ovary is a female reproductive organ that produces estrogen, progesterone and eggs that are present in humans and other vertebrates as a pair. It is considered as the most important organs of the female reproductive system.
