A friedmanite (Milton Friedman) conception of corporate social responsibility is one in which the executives within a corporations have their primary responsibility is to support the company's bottom line, the profit of the corporation. The support for this viewpoint is that in the process of creating significant profits the executives in charge or owner(s) can then use this profit for charitable donations for causes they see fit to receive funding.
