Greetings and Happy Holidays!

Solve for p.
[tex]6p-21=3p-12[/tex]

Add 12 to both sides.
[tex](6p-21)+12=(3p-12)+12[/tex]

[tex]6p-9=3p[/tex]

Add -6p to both sides.
[tex](6p-9)+(-6p)=(3p)+(-6p)[/tex]

[tex]-9=-3p[/tex]

Divide both sides by 3.
[tex] \frac{-9}{-3}= \frac{-3p}{-3} [/tex]

[tex]3=p[/tex]

The Answer Is:
[tex] \left[\begin{array}{ccc}p=3\end{array}\right] [/tex]

Hope this helps!
