Pretend you are a Native American teenager writing in your journal. You have just listened to your parents and grandparents discuss the history of your family and the events that took place during the settlers’ migration West. Describe your feelings regarding these events.

Dear journal,
We are migrating West. We have to keep moving or we'll lose precious time. Mum and Dad, and Grams and Gramps are all talking. They don't want me to hear them. Personally I don't want to move West. I am wondering what my new life out West will be like. Well, I've got to go.
                                                                                                          With love,
                                                                                                             Gothling78

I would feel proud of my Ancestry for surviving the hardships and be happy to be a part of it
