Respuesta :
mutation of normal cells – tumor growth – invasion of tissues – metastasis – metastatic tumor. The cells in our body that divides are at a higher risk of developing mutations compared to those that don't divide. Breast (cells) is one of the frequently dividing cells in our body.
All the cancer in our body starts with the mutation of the DNA in several cells.
Same occurs with the breast cancer. In this case the mutation occurs in the normal breast cells, the mutation result in abnormal growth of the cells resulting in a tumor. The tumor grow large and invades other tissues, causing metastasis, and result in metastatic tumor, which is the advanced stage of cancer.
Hence, the correct sequence is:
mutation of normal cells – tumor growth – invasion of tissues – metastasis – metastatic tumor.
