one way to think of human intelect is to look at different colors of the spectrum to find the type of light being emmited through quantum mechanics and the process in witch it comes to as a fine not visionary light.

The other way is All about mind talk and all the mysterious ways that it comes through as such as a physical or physcological happenings here on planet earth reflecting energy that comes from beyond this realm.

John Locke based some of his ideas on the Rationalism and the Mechanical philosophy, that were two of the disciplines which had a large contribution from Descartes.

Nevertheless, Locke disagress from Descartes in the way humans acquire knowledge, for instance, he believed that analogies and establishing relations was necessary in order to establish critical instruments to filter wrong learning. He was opposed to the mere mechanical and cartesian conceptions which were more related to the Descartes theories.

On contrary to Descartes, whom argued that thare was not innate knowledge and that only the experience should he held into account. Locke disputed the dream argument by Descartes which said that we can feel and experience sensory stimuli even during the dreams.
