coat = manteau // raincoat = imperméable
for clothes , we say neuf/neuve when it's new, rather than nouveau/nouvelle
The TV is old = La télévision est vieille
the car is old = la voiture est vieille
(old = vieux/vieille)
The leaves are beautiful = les feuilles sont magnifiques (belles)
elle a besoin de nouvelles = she needs news
The newspaper is new = le journal est nouveau
the = le/la /// a = un/une
Her jacket is beautiful = sa veste est magnifique (belle)
her = possessive feminine pronoun.
In French the pronoun always agrees with the following noun, that's why I wrote "veste" (feminine) and not "blouson" (masculine)
with blouson it would be = son blouson est magnifique (beau)
beautiful = magnifique, superbe, très beau/belle
