Respuesta :
When the water is boiled its a thermal (heat) energy. Because when stream is blown against huge turbine blades, they rotate which produces mechanical energy. Due to this rotation of blade electricity is produced and that is the transformation into electrical energy. The electricity is used to light the lamp which is the transformation into light energy.
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can be converted from one form to another.
The first law of conservation of energy explains the fact that energy can be converted from one form to another. This is the principle upon which many devices are built.
- When water is boiled, potential energy is converted to kinetic energy and heat energy.
- When the steam is blown against huge turbine blades, thermal energy is mechanical energy.
- When electricity is generated from the turbine, mechanical energy is converted to electrical energy.
- When the lamp lights up, electrical energy has been converted to light energy.
