The
continental’s drift theory is lacking a mechanism that could
explain how the continents drift and what are the patterns behind it.
The
theory of continental drift was first proposed by Alfred Wegener in
the late 1912 but it wasn’t accepted until the late 50s. Wegener
proposed that the continents were drifting across the earth, but he
couldn’t explain the what was the mechanism that make the drifting possible.
