Dani is buying treats for her dog. She can buy treats individually from the bin for $0.19 each, or she can buy a package of 250 treats for $19.95. What is the difference in cost per treats?

1 treat is 19 cents so you multiply 250 by 0.19 and you get 47.50 then take the $19.95 the amount for a package of treats and minus it from 47.50 and you save $27.55
Individually for $0.19 each:
For this one, we already have all the information we need, the per treat price.

If you buy the treats individually, it costs $0.19 a piece.

250 treats for $19.95:
For this one, all you would need to do is divide $19.95 by the number of treats, 250.
$19.95 ÷ 250 = $0.079

If you buy 250 treats for $19.95, it costs $0.079.

Now, all you would need to do is find the difference between the two prices. To do this, you would subtract $0.079 from $0.19.
$0.19 - $0.079 = $
0.111

The difference would be $0.111 per treat.

I hope this helps!
