On his pilgrimage to Mecca he introduced the kingdom of Mali to the world which was really unknown at the time He made a good impression to all of the people he met along the way. Also he was so rich that the amount of gold that he bought dropped the world price of gold. Musa not only gave money and donated to the cities he passed on the way to Mecca, including Cairo and Medina, but also traded gold for several holy souvenirs.He was so famous and rich that people thought that he built a mosque every Friday.
