We are referring to the novel "Decameron," written by Giovanni Boccaccio in  1350. Experts in literature say that the book is a great example of Italian prose. The "Decameron" contains many stories that move around one central story of people that gathered in a village in Fiesole, about of Florence that had been stroke by a plague.
