ethnocentrism describes the tendency to favor one's own in-group over another's outgroup, it is a concept developed by anthropology to mention the tendency that leads a person or social group to interpret reality from their own cultural parameters; attitude of the group, race or society that presupposes their preference over others and makes their own culture the exclusive criterion to interpret and value the culture and behaviors of these other groups, races or societies.

Answer: Ethnocentrism is the right answer.

Explanation: Ethnocentrism is a concept given by sociologists and anthropologists. It states that ethnocentrism is basically an individual's belief that he or his group members are better than other individuals from any other group based on their heritage. Ethnocentrism plays a major role in division among member of different ethnicities. to make it clear I will use an example that suppose a person belongs from a religious group called protestants. He believes that the religious belief held by all the Protestants are superior than those of Catholics. This will create a division between Catholics and Protestants. Each of them will start considering themselves superior than other. Thus, we can say that ethnocentrism describe the tendency to favor one's own in-group over and others out-group.
