In what phase of meiosis are tetrads of homologous pairs lined up along the center of the cell and attached to the spindle fibers?

Respuesta :

In metaphase 1, tetrads of homologous pairs lined up along the center of the of the cell and attached to the spindle fibers. During this process, the bivalents or pairs of chromosomes are arranged on the metaphase plate and become attached to the fully formed meotic spindle. The centrioles are on the cell's opposite poles. Each bivalent are coiled tightly and condensed. Spindle fibers from each pole of the cell are attached to each homologous chromosome.
